Apple Invites Press to an October 23 iPad Mini with iOS 6 Media Event
As a quick reminder in case some of our readers missed the latest Apple news, we decided to write this brief article. Earlier today, Apple sent invitations to select members of the press for a special October 23rd media event. While Apple didn’t specify what they’ll announce during said event, the following tagline is included in the invitation: “We’ve got a little more to show you”.
Judging by the majority of rumors surrounding a new iPad that’s unofficially dubbed the “iPad Mini”, Apple will likely use this second fall event to unveil a smaller variant of their popular iPad tablet. Although there isn’t much known about such a device, we can guarantee it will run some version of iOS 6. However, it’s unknown whether the iPad Mini will ship with 6.0 preloaded or an updated version of iOS 6 - maybe 6.0.1?

Moreover, additional reports suggest that Apple will also unveil a new 13-inch Retina display MacBook Pro, an updated Mac Mini and possible update their iMac lineup.
Scheduled to take place next Tuesday, October 23rd, Apple’s upcoming media event will be held in San Jose at the California Theatre and will commence at 10:00am Pacific time (1:00pm Eastern).
