Install iOS 9 Beta 4 Free Without UDID and How to Jailbreak 8.4 – Update: Beta 4

Install iOS 9 beta 4 Free no Developer UDID Download, Downgrade to Jailbreak 8.4 – Following the recent iOS 8.4 jailbreak, roughly one month following iOS 9’s unveiling, and the subsequent release of iOS 9 beta 1 to registered iOS Developers, Apple seeded iOS 9 beta 4 for those enrolled in the company’s iOS and OS X Developer program. In iOS 9, Apple has not only increased security measures (details on a potential iOS 9 jailbreak post iOS 8.4 in light of said measure can be found here), but they’ve also significantly improved performance system-wide. Furthermore, iOS 9 beta 4 finally brings true split-screen multitasking to iPads (though full access to both app panes simultaneously is restricted to the iPad Air 2 until an iOS 9 jailbreak is released), proactive “Intelligence” for improved ease-of-use and more. Before getting too excited however, it’s paramount to mention that a potential iOS 9 beta 4 upgrade from an 8.x jailbreakable firmware will result in the instant loss of your device’s jailbreak, though a simple downgrade by plugging into iTunes and clicking “Restore” will allow you to once again jailbreak on 8.4. With that being said, in this educational guide, we’ll highlight an iTunes security flaw that enables devices on iOS 8 through 8.4 to update to iOS 9 beta 4 for free without the necessary UDID registration that’s typical of beta updates. For additional details on iOS 9 beta 4, and how to install the firmware, continue reading.

iOS 8.4.1 Beta Released, TaiG to Jailbreak 8.4.1 Untethered?

Apple Releases 8.4.1 beta 1, TaiG to Jailbreak iOS 8.4.1 Untethered? – Today, in a completely unexpected release, Apple seeded iOS 8.4.1 to developers ensuing last week’s public release of both iOS 8.4 and the company’s new Apple Music streaming service. Unfortunately, jailbreakers running iOS 8.3 or 8.4 will certainly be threatened by iOS 8.4.1’s inevitable public release. iOS 8.4.1 beta 1 carries a slightly revised build number over its predecessor of 12H304, versus 12H14 – such a minor jump is indicative of very minor changes. Today’s new iOS 8.4.1 beta 1 seed is available for immediate download via Apple’s newly revamped Developer portal. As far as jailbreaking is concerned, as alluded to above, the firmware may very well patch the TaiG iOS 8.4 jailbreak once it’s issued to the public, making it impossible for any device to jailbreak iOS 8.4.1 Untethered utilizing TaiG. However, seeing as iOS 8.4.1. is one of the most discrete beta releases we’ve seen, jailbreakers could also be in for a surprise following 8.4.1’s release. iOS 8.4 Released, TaiG to Jailbreak 8.4 with Update?

Apple Releases iOS 8.4, Can I Jailbreak 8.4 Untethered, TaiG’s Update? –  Today, in an expected (and previously announced when confirming Apple Music) release, Apple issued iOS 8.4 to the general public. Currently, unlike its predecessor, iOS 8.4 cannot be jailbroken right now by way of TaiG in its current state. Furthermore, Apple’s latest iteration of iOS is available in two flavors: as an OTA (short for over-the-air) update and as a traditional update via iTunes, which is a method most veteran iOS users can appreciate (it’s also the only route for ensuring a successful jailbreak on a jailbreakable firmware). However, it’s of paramount importance that current iOS 8 through 8.3 jailbreak users avoid installing the latest update at all costs! In light of iOS 8.4’s planned release to accommodate Apple Music, it’s possible that the minor update doesn’t address the vulnerabilities exploited by TaiG in their iOS 8.3 jailbreak and that a simple adaptation of their tool will be able to jailbreak iOS 8.4. As of now though, it’s not possible for any device to jailbreak 8.4 untethered when utilizing the latest TaiG 2.1.3 utility. Continue reading past the break for more details on TaiG 2.1.3, how the iOS 8.4 update may play into jailbreaking and whether you should update!

PP Claims iOS 8.3 Jailbreak Release In July, After 8.4, K33N To Jailbreak iOS 9?

PP States iOS 8.3 Jailbreak to be Released in July, after 8.4, K33n’s iOS 9 Jailbreak Plans – Today, following the conclusion of WWDC on Monday, a few interesting developments in the realm of jailbreaking have come to light. Without an iOS 8.3 jailbreak from either TaiG or Pangu, those new to the scene are undoubtedly starting to panic as we approach one of the longest periods we’ve had to wait for a new jailbreak utility – second only to days of iOS 6 – iOS 7, when 6.1.3 patched the jailbreak in March, 2013 and we didn’t receive a new untethered utility until evasi0n7 in December, 2013. So, with Pangu having recently demonstrated their ability to jailbreak iOS 8.3 at MOSEC and with iOS 8.4 right around the corner, what can we expect as far as a new jailbreak for iOS 8.4 and iOS 8.3? Interestingly, PP Assistant (the group behind the Mac OS X port of TaiG) recently shared their insider opinion on the topic. Moreover, what about moving forward – i.e. jailbreaking past iOS 8.3? Jailbreak iOS 8.3 Pangu

Jailbreak iOS 8.3 Demoed By Pangu, Release After iOS 8.4?

Pangu Demonstrates Jailbreak iOS 8.3 Solution at MOSEC, Release After iOS 8.4? – Yesterday, just days before Apple’s World Wide Developers Conference on Monday, Pangu allegedly demonstrated an iOS 8.3 Untethered jailbreak at a security venue! During the aforementioned Apple-hosted conference, the company will unveil not only iOS 9, but also the next installment to OS X, being OS 10.11. However, for some, WWDC may be overshadowed by the jailbreak 8.3 presentation Pangu put on during MOSEC 2015, short for Mobile Security Conference. With Pangu having been all but forgotten by jailbreakers who maintain a short-term mentality when it comes to jailbreak utilities, Pangu is undoubtedly one of the greats. They were not only the first group to jailbreak iOS 8 through 8.1, but prior to that, they rushed to jailbreaker’s rescue last June to issue an iOS 7.1.x jailbreak when we were least expecting it. Is it possible that Pangu may once again save avid jailbreakers from the boredom that is vanilla iOS by delivering a solution to jailbreak all iOS 8 firmwares since Apple’s patch of the last TaiG untethered utility, being iOS 8.1.3, 8.2, 8.3 and even iOS 8.4? The latest on Pangu and additional information concerning TaiG and their jailbreak plans can be found after the break.

iOS 8.3 Jailbreak After iOS 8.4’s Release Date And New 0Day 8.4 Jailbreak Exploit?

Jailbreak iOS 8.3 After iOS 8.4’s Release Date, Plus New 0day Jailbreak 8.4 Exploit? – With Apple’s annual World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC for short) rapidly approaching, a number of questions are undoubtedly surging through jailbreakers’ minds as each day passes without a new solution to jailbreak iOS 8.3, the current public firmware. However, as we’ve outlined a number of times throughout our articles, iOS 8.3 won’t necessarily be the target of the next jailbreak utility, instead it will be jailbroken by extension with the release of a new tool capable of jailbreaking iOS 8.4 (the successor to iOS 8.3). Having grasped that concept, when will iOS 8.4 make its grand appearance in the form of a public release? That’s a great question – with the latest iOS 8.4 beta firmware (being 8.4 beta 3) having been seeded to developers over three weeks ago on May 11th, 2015, we won’t receive another beta iteration of the firmware prior to it’s inevitable release. Today, let’s ponder said release and delve into possible iOS 8.4 release dates so that we’ll have a better understanding of when a new jailbreak utility for iOS 8.4 will be issued that will also be capable of jailbreaking iOS 8.1.3, 8.2 and 8.3: the three firmwares that have included Apple’s TaiG jailbreak-patching remedy. Also, there’s a slight possibility that a new vulnerability was discovered that’s capable of being exploited for the intent of implementation into a jailbreak 8.4 utility (though the chances may be slim considering it’s source). Reboot iPhone Text Message Bug To Expedite Jailbreak iOS 8.3, iOS 8.4 Utility

Power Off, Reboot, iMessage Text to Aid iOS 8.3 Jailbreak for iOS 8.4 – Interestingly, late last evening a string of text went viral that causes an iOS device running 8.0 or higher (including iOS 8.3 and 8.4 beta 3) to appear as though it’s rebooting when a SMS text or iMessage is received containing said text. At this point, chances are good you’ve likely either heard of the aforementioned iOS glitch or experienced it firsthand. For those of you who have yet to test this bizarre phenomenon, you’ll find the exact characters that need be simply copied, pasted and texted to your friends (for testing purposes, of course). When we first caught wind of the mysterious combination of English, Arabic and Unicode characters that don’t play nicely with iOS, we immediately thought of jailbreaking, more specifically the exploitation of iOS 8.3 to create a new jailbreak utility to function pre- iOS 8.4, seeing as the issue will likely be rectified by the release. Beyond being incredibly annoying on the receiving end and possibly entertaining on the sending end (until the sender becomes the recipient), is it possible that a strange glitch could lead to the creation of a new jailbreak iOS 8.3 untethered solution? Unfortunately, the answer isn’t as simple as the question; yes, it could lead to a new jailbreak, but not directly. Of course, the true explanation is slightly more complex – to learn more about whether this discovery is actually useful to the jailbreak community at large, and for the text (educational purposes only), continue reading past the break.
