Evasi0n Jailbreak Download for iOS 6.1 Untethered, Utility Updated to 1.3 – Earlier today, @evad3rs (the official twitter handle for the Evad3rs dev team) informed their followers that the group has updated their Evasi0n Jailbreak utility for iOS 6 to version 1.1. The latest update was issued to incorporate the various 6.0 through 6.1 system revisions that are also available on Cydia. Most notably, those who jailbreak with the updated version of evasion will no longer encounter an issue that results in unusually long reboot times and the standard iOS Weather app will function properly.
For those of you who are already jailbroken on iOS 6.1 with evasi0n 1.0, there’s no need to re-jailbreak with the updated evasion tool. To apply the revisions, launch Cydia, wait for it to refresh and install the available updates.

Update 2: Evasi0n has recently been updated to version 1.3 to include full Untethered jailbreak support for Apple’s new iPhone 4S-exclusive 6.1.1 firmware.
