How To Jailbreak iOS 6 beta iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod Touch 4G Using Redsn0w

Shortly after Apple released their newest beta firmware, developers were greeted with great news. The iPhone Dev team has just released RedSn0w 0.9.13dev1 as a simple jailbreak for iOS 6 beta. The release was mostly anticipated as news of a potential jailbreak solution spread after Apple’s big wwdc announcement. The new jailbreak is currently compatible with the following iOS devices :

  • iPhone 3Gs
  • iPod Touch 4th Generation

Sadly, the 4s and the new iPad 3 aren’t supported in this release. However, just remember that the public version has yet to be released and support may very well be added at a later date. Important : This jailbreak will not install Cydia. While this is still a tethered jailbreak, users will not have access to the Cydia app and will need an SSH client or program to install specific apps, packages and tweaks.
