Hi
I have an itouch 5 n jailbroke it to firmware 7.0.6. I tried to update iTunes software n restore itouch to original settings. It won’t let me do that. I was told by Apple that a file must have went missing when jail breaking. Has anyone had this problem n how can I fix it?

i have a mac computer, version 10.6.8. In order to jailbreak my iphone 5, version 7.0.6, do i need a computer better than the 10.6 to avoid any issues? Also, my Safari version is 5.1.10. would this version work with the download of evasion to jailbreak my phone to avoid problems?

Hi can you help, when I try and JB on iphone 5 the final stage doesn’t happen….the evasion icon remains and cydia doesn’t appear ?

That is the exact same thing that is happening when I do it too. It says “Modefiying rootfs” and then it just crashes and never says “Done!”

I have the 4s and every time I try to do the jailbreak it says unlock your phone so I unlock it, it says modifying rootfs and it crashes and never says done and try to see cydia and its not there?? Help!

Until the first Windows Phone 7 update is released, the first option of Post from URL will be difficult to achieve without copy and paste unless you know the URL. With Blogware there are also a few ways to change the look of your site without editing the templates, but major changes will not be easy to make.

I think there might be a bug in the v1.0.4 of the Evasion7 jailbreak as it crashes when it gets to the final stage but v1.0.2 worked. Just letting you know. (iPhone 4s, 7.0.4)

Yeah same thing with v1.0.5. Gets to the final stage an just crashes and I still have the evasi0n 7 icon still on my iPhone 4S.

Hello there, my iphones 4 and 4s where updated to ios 7.0.4.

both of them where successfully jailbroken using the evard untethered jailbreak utility.

my question is: how do I unlock them after jailbreak.

After trying to run the 7 file,..an error message appears ,..”it could not open because of a problem, contact the developer…. I am running 10.6.8 on a MacBook Pro….Soooooo close!!! arrrrrghhhh!

I think you need OS 10.7 + Maybe use another computer if you do not want to ugrade to 10,7

Hello, I wanna ask you about my iphone that CANNOT update to ios7. I had downloaded the ios7.0.2 FIRMWARE through my iphone but can’t install it. I ask many iphone users and they said it cause by JAILBREAK so I have to format / downgrade instead. So my question is, if I downgrade or format my iphone, is it the DOWNLOADED ios 7.0.2 firmware still in there. I mean, I just have to install it only and does not have to re-download it.

There is not. Evsi0n will make a iOS 7 untethered Jailbreak instead. Skipping iOS 6.1.3 and 6.1.4. You must be on iOS 7 and download Evasi0n once the software is released.

Sorry it’s hard for the Evasi0n team to do it on older device. They possibly might a jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3 soon. They just want iOS 7 out of the way first.

I think you could but, using redsn0w. You have to try out yourself. REMEMBER backup your iPad in case of an error.
