Download Evasion 1.5.3 Update to Jailbreak iOS 6.1.2 - Following today’s earlier release of Evasi0n 1.5.2, the evad3rs (the dev team responsible for creating the first and only Untethered iOS 6 jailbreak) updated their evasi0n jailbreak tool to version 1.5.3. It seems that, in addition to bringing localization for German, French and Chinese, evasi0n v1.5.2 also causes the utility to crash on Windows. Evasion 1.5.3 simply corrects the unwarranted and bizarre issue with the previous evasi0n update. Also, like with past versions, evasi0n 1.5.3 includes support for jailbreaking iOS 6.0 through 6.1.2 on all iPhone, iPad and iPod touch models that can upgrade to the latest firmwares.

Also, along the same lines, if you own an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch that was previously jailbroken using an earlier edition of the Evasion jailbreaking tool, it’s possible to apply the latest updates without having to fully restore to iOS 6.1.2 and re-jailbreak. The revisions to evasi0n are available through Cydia as a simple update; to apply them, simply navigate to the “Changes” section and install the latest Evasi0n 6.0 - 6.1.2 Untether 0.4-1 update.
