iOS 7 Jailbreak 7.0.3 Dev Update: Everything Rests on the iPad Mini 2The other day, on Friday, November 1st, Apple finally released their long-awaited iPad Air (the company’s fifth-generation full-sized tablet) to the public. As a direct result of Apple’s latest release, one more piece of the 7.0.3 jailbreak development puzzle has fallen into place for the evad3rs. Now, there’s only one more milestone standing in the way of the next jailbreak: the upcoming release of the iPad mini 2. Previously, once MuscleNerd of the evad3rs confirmed 7.0.3 hadn’t impacted the team’s progress in a negative sense, we reported that everything is coming together for the team. The developers are currently creating the next Untethered jailbreak 7.0.3 utility for all iOS 7-based devices, which is why they must wait until the new Retina iPad mini 2 is released toward the end of November (most likely the 22nd).
In the meantime, the evad3rs have obtained iPad Air models, with their all-new 64-bit chips, for testing purposes. For those who are interested in seeing an in-depth unboxing of the brand new device and for a chance to win a free iPad Air, we recommend watching and following iCrackUriDevice’s recent video, which can be found below.
What the majority of new “jailbreakers” seem to miss is the fact that, like their predecessors, the evad3rs work 99% of the time in secrecy and avoid publicizing most of their progress to prevent leaks, confusion regarding the release, etc. Moreover, all of the hackers on the jailbreak scene are working tirelessly, for free, to bring the public a jailbreak solution while maintaining full-time jobs.
It’s astonishing at how quickly self-proclaimed jailbreakers turn against the four individuals who are responsible for the development of countless utilities and who have incredible track records - the evad3rs will deliver, they always have, it’s a fact.
On a related note, the staff of Jailbreak iOS Evasion wanted to remind some of our new readers that we’re simply a blog dedicated to providing our audience with the very best in jailbreak news and tutorials on the web. We are in no way associated with the evad3rs, or any other dev team, and have no influence on the development of the iOS 7 jailbreak; we simply report the news. For those of our avid readers, we appreciate your patience and support, we will always keep you up-to-date.
Again, as a quick recap, remember that the evad3rs must get their hands on the iPad mini 2 prior to preparing their utility for a public release.
