For some brief background, TaiG simply released an updated utility to both recognize, and function on the first two iOS 8.2 beta firmwares without using any additional exploits, as both iOS 8.2 beta 1 and 2 were issued prior to the iOS 8.1.3 TaiG jailbreak-patching firmware’s release - i.e. Apple hadn’t readied the jailbreak patch at the time of said betas’ availability. In other words, in order to jailbreak post 8.1.3 one would have been required to update to iOS 8.2 beta and deliver the jailbreak earlier this week. Furthermore, while those still running iOS 8.1.2 or either an earlier iteration of iOS 8 or one of the first two iOS 8.2 beta IPSWs can still jailbreak, those on iOS 8.1.3 who didn’t jump the gun when TaiG version 1.3.0 was issued will effectively be locked out until a new jailbreak utility is released. Having said that, such a solution might become available for all iPhone, iPod touch and iPad models (including the iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6, iPad Air 2 and all other iOS 8-powered devices) sooner than most would predict!
