Apple Releases iOS 8.2 Beta 4 - Will TaiG Jailbreak 8.2 Untethered?
As alluded to above, taking the increase in build numbers from iOS 8.1.2 to 8.2 beta 4 into account, one would likely assume that the latest beta firmware would include ground-breaking features and improvements over its latest public counterpart.
However, as of now, iOS 8.2’s primary focus is the forthcoming Apple Watch - the firmware mostly includes support for the future Apple smart wearable and is accompanied by Xcode 6.2 beta, which includes WatchKit implementation (Apple’s software development kit, SDK, for the aforementioned device).
iOS 8.1.2 Jailbreakers Avoid iOS 8.2 Beta 4, As A Jailbreak Isn’t Available!
While iOS 8.2 is undeniably appealing to developers keen on creating new apps tailored to the Apple Watch, jailbreakers should have a different outlook on the latest beta firmware, considering the changes are nominal to the end-user without the Apple Watch on wrist. Logically speaking, iOS 8.2 beta 4 shouldn’t tempt any jailbreaker on iOS 8.1.2 or any previous version of iOS 8 to make the leap to said beta firmware.
That being said, we’re fully aware that some individuals may be curious as to whether 8.2 includes features beyond what’s specified in its official ‘Release Notes’. If you count yourself among one of aforementioned individuals, we cannot stress how important it is to avoid the new beta regardless of your curiosity - don’t let it get the best of you!
