Jailbreak 7.0.2 Development Continues, As Winocm Provides Untethered 6.1.3 ETA

Jailbreak 7.0.2 Development, UnTethered 6.1.3 Release TimeframeiOS 7.0.2 Jailbreak Untethered 6.1.3 ETAWith the somewhat recent news regarding the evad3rs having everything the dev team needs to complete the jailbreak 7.0.2 utility (which will likely include support for soon to be released iOS 7.0.3), the anticipation amongst jailbreak enthusiasts across the globe couldn’t be higher. The evad3rs are, without a doubt, working tirelessly on developing the next Untethered 7.0.2 jailbreak in somewhat of a “stealth mode,” as none of the members have publicized their recent progress. What of the iOS 6.1.3 and the potential jailbreak from a developer by the name of winocm that we detailed last month? It’s also in development, and with a general release timeframe!

The evad3rs, the team who brought us the iOS 6 through 6.1.2 Untethered jailbreak for all current devices at the time, will certainly deliver the iOS 7 jailbreak to the public in a timely fashion (considering the difficulties and complications surrounding the development of a tool that supports a wide range of devices).

In our last post on Jailbreak iOS Evasion, we detailed how Apple’s upcoming iPad 5 and iPad mini 2 will affect the jailbreak by slightly delaying the 7.0.2 utility’s release so the evad3rs’ can ensure it functions properly with the upcoming iPad models.

Earlier this month, on the 7th, winocm informed his followers that the ETA (estimated time of arrival) for his purported iOS 6.1.3 and 6.1.4 jailbreak utility is “before 2014″. Unfortunately, it seems as though the 6.1.3 tool won’t be complete before the iOS 7 jailbreak.

A few factors come into play when calculating the long development period of winocm’s alleged jailbreak 6.1.3 utility. Most notably the fact that the responsibility of coding and testing (for the most part) lies with him alone.

Moreover, a jailbreak “dream team”, like the evad3rs, are more apt to tackle the challenges related to creating a jailbreak, as the members have more experience in the field. Although there isn’t an official release timeframe for the iOS 7 jailbreak, the tool will likely be issued to the public some time following Apple’s release of the iPad 5 and iPad mini 2, and preceding winocm’s 6.1.3 tool.

Furthermore, the fact that the evad3rs have gone “silent” as far as sharing development details with the public is actually a good sign. The team is close and they aren’t ready to announce a target release date yet, as the new iPads may pose unforeseen difficulties and, in turn, slightly delaying said target release date.

As Apple’s next-generation iPad release quickly approaches, we’ll indubitably keep our readers completely apprised of all developments concerning the iOS 7 and 7.0.2 jailbreak. 5. Darkshadow500 says:

  7. Gabriel Lopes says:

  8. Darkshadow500 says:

I think winocm probably will have public jailbreak for 6.1.3/6.1.4 before evaders will jailbreak ios 7… At least publically that is.

  9. Ios 7 jailbreak says:

Ios 7 jb wont be out before winocm 1. Hes jailbreaking 6.1.3/6.1.4 which evaders couldnt do obviously 2. Theres a ipad coming out and with the release of iphone 5 s,c will make them slack some more so winocm jailbreak will be out before evad3rs

  10. Darkshadow500 says:

The 6.1.3/6.1.4 jailbreak will be done before 2014 and he already has it completed, it’s just a little buggy tho, and needs a little bit of work to “make public” but he’ll get it done, it’s too bad evasion didn’t jailbreak that too tho… It’s kind of a kick in the pants to them… Why?? Well because winocm will go down in history and remain in history as “the one who has the current jailbreak for all A3 and back devices”, because they will not be able to upgrade to ios 7 so he will have made his place in jailbreak history forever. I mean I understand why evasion didn’t do it, props to them for continuing on the jb conquest to keep “us” on the “new” but it’s really a shame that they weren’t thinking ahead to make a 6.1.3/6.1.4 to solidify their place in the history books, because when it comes down to it… Jailbreakers come and jailbreakers go… But the ones who remain in your mind forever are the ones who have done something permanent and something that will stick forever for example: “boot rom exploit in older iPhones” or “jtagging a xbox360″ or “jailbreaking a psp” or if someone figured out “how to completely bypass iTunes firmware signing so that you or I can upgrade or downgrade to any firmware we wanted to so that way…. Those communist…. I’m mean…. Apple wouldn’t rule our lives” those are the things that will remain, and things that can’t and will not ever be patched not now… Not ever. And that is a true “hacker for the history books.” Thank you evasion for all your hard work on the new ios 7 and thank you for 6-6.1.2 jailbreak, I mean that, I also thank winocm for thinking beyond the “new” and taking the time with the “old” because without you, their would be no “permanent jailbreak”.

Excellent post!!!! I would also like to add that winocm is part of a team that deserves a lot of credit as well. The other members of the team Are squiffy pwn and the famed ih8sn0w wish is responsible for f0recast, IREB, iFaith, and sn0wbreeze. Great job guys.

  12. Andres says:

Hey guys, I read lot of issues related to updating to ios 7 or now 7.0.2 on iPhone 4 s like Bluetooth stop working, battery drain wifi issues etc….many bugs apparently, what can u tell us about? maybe isn’t worth it to update to ios 7 or even create a jailbreak with all those bugs, should we wait for ios 7.03 or next ones that hopefully fix those bugs Thanks to the genius developers that make a regular iPhone a way better smartphone

  13. Zombiekrig says:

Can’t wait for iOS 6.1.4 jailbreak! Don’t want to get iOS 7!

  14. Derrickblogs.com says:

You know after seeing so much about its coming and then nothing the waiting is a little insane personally my own device I would never take the chance in Jailbreaking because of the bugs, and I am going to say I have had so many people who downloaded and took a chance and tried to use something from Cydia and they ended up having me to restore the entire system, there really should be a fix for boot looping without upgrading to the next ios if you want to work on a tool that would help because I have gotten to the point now that I noticed it’s CDMA Iphones that have the most problems, not the GSM Tmobile and ATT have there own issues with the unlocks and now we have to worry about how long the jailbreak is gonna be it’s to much IOS should rename themselves and call Apple = Crapple!

  15. Sharvan says:

I have a 4S with 6.1.2 Evasion Untethered Jailbreak. But I did little screwups and I want to restore to 6.1.2 and Jailbreak it as Untethered again. Is it possible now?? 22. Chuck says:

That’s funny I don’t recall the admin of this site mentioning a 6.1.3 jailbreak by another team however I do remember other readers brining it up as far as it being released after the 7.0 up jailbreak I seriously have my doubts about that unless the 2 teams are working together on timing the release. I still say that the race is on

    • Evasion Admin says:

Yeah, we have it linked in this article, check out our post on winocm’s potential 6.1.3 jailbreak (we’ll link to it here too, for your connivence). The exploits winocm is reportedly using won’t function on iOS 7 and are completely separate from the vulnerabilities the evad3rs have stockpiled. Thanks for reading.

6 months only bla bla bla …..
