iOS 8.4.1 beta 2 Released by Apple, will TaiG Jailbreak iOS 8.4.1 Untethered? - Today, without any prior indication, roughly two weeks and two days following its initial seed, Apple issued iOS 8.4.1 beta 2 for developers. iOS 8.4.1, being the firmware that’s expected to patch the TaiG jailbreak (though a miracle could still happen - see video below for details), is an extremely minor update likely featuring bug fixes and optimizations. Currently, those who update to the beta seed from a jailbroken device on iOS 8.4 will forfeit their Untethered TaiG 8.4 jailbreak, as the latest Untethered utility isn’t compatible with the beta firmware, regardless of whether Apple closed TaiG’s exploits in 8.4.1 beta 2. As of now, any release timeframe would be based on conjecture and speculation, though seeing as the firmware appears as though it’s a very minor update, we likely won’t see an iOS 8.4.1 beta 3 release prior to 8.4.1’s public availability. iOS 8.4.1 Beta 2: TaiG to Jailbreak 8.4.1?
Starting with the firmware itself, iOS 8.4.1 beta 2 isn’t available for download via Apple’s dev center like its predecessor is. Curiously, those interested in updating to the beta firmware must first install iOS 8.4.1 beta 1 and then make the leap to beta 2 via Apple’s over-the-air (OTA) update option - suggesting today’s release is very minute in the changes it offers.

Having said that, without too much conjecture, it’s highly probable that Apple will use iOS 8.4.1 to not only correct issues the company introduced with last month’s release of Apple Music in iOS 8.4 but also to patch (or close) the TaiG Untethered iOS 8.4 jailbreak!

However, regardless of how small, the possibility does exist that Apple will leave the vulnerabilities utilized by TaiG unattended to in iOS 8.4.1, allowing the public to jailbreak the latest firmware until iOS 9 is available this fall (like they did with last year’s 7.1.x). For months, hundreds of people complained on this page about “there is never going to be another jailbreak” and “this is such a troll page” now I see an update about the new software and there’s only 5 comments. Haha
asap any tweak to download youtube videos & audio on ios 8.4 (no cercube) is not working any more..
InTube you gotta pay for it though, the free ones do not work.
through my own sheer stupidity i was stuck on 7 for ages on my iphone.. so it wont hurt to stay with 8.4 a bit longer .. thanks guys for keeping us all uptodate and thanks to the teams for freeing our devices for us.

I Change the Version Number with iFile from iOS 8.4 to 8.4.1. Stay in Jailbreak and not Update until there is a New one for iOS9 Later.

Why not? Change the Number From 8.4 to 8.4.1 only Bugfixes for the Jailbreak doesnt Matter 😀
