Apple Releases 7.0.3, Next Utility to likely Jailbreak 7.0.3Today, following the announcement of both the all-new iPad Air and the Retina second-generation iPad mini, Apple released iOS 7.0.3. The new update not only provides a number of iOS 7 bug fixes, but it also adds iCloud Keychain support - a feature that’s included in the completely free OS X Mavericks. Furthermore, although MuscleNerd recently shared words of caution with his followers, Apple’s latest release likely won’t have an impact on the evad3rs’ iOS 7 jailbreak, chances are good it will be capable of jailbreaking 7.0.3.
While additional details will come on the topic at a later time, and although famed iOS hacker and evad3rs member MuscleNerd warned users to avoid 7.0.3 at the moment, it seems as though the firmware doesn’t correct any of the valuable jailbreak exploits the team has been stockpiling over the past few months.
However, just to be safe, future jailbreakers should stay on 7.0.2 or earlier until the evad3rs give fans the go ahead.
Potential iOS7 jailbreakers should stay away from today’s 7.0.3 for now. Too early to tell if it closes anything important for JB.

From what other news sources speculate, Jailbreaking ios7 will be released Sometime around February 2014. I myself made the mistake of updating to 6.1.3. Well now I’m on ios 7. I don’t mind waiting till February or even April 2014. Thank you Evasion for providing such quality services.
I have been predicting a January-February release because of new hardware and update releases. So it is probably going to take just as long to jailbreak iOS 7 as it did to jailbreak iOS 6. I think that most of the time will be spent building the easy to use universal application that everyone will use with a single button press to jailbreak their devices. Plus, they probably don’t have as many people actively working on this jailbreak like there was for iOS 6. On top of all that, they have to build an app for windows and another for Mac OS. I can’t wait to get a nice jailbreak but my iPad and my iPhone work splendidly and are extremely useful in their jailed state. I can’t seem to put my iPad down, it’s always with me so I get offended when people call their jailed iDevices useless junk.

You are trying to compare apples to cement trucks and you fail at it. iOS is a completely different beast from android os, they operate differently and are written in completely different languages. iOS is written in C and all of the apps are written in C. Android is nothing more than a java virtual machine that runs apps written in Java hence the reason there is delay when an android app starts up. There are no android tweaks but there are hundreds of iOS tweaks. The only thing you can do with android is run a custom build rom and custom loaders. I’ll take my amazing iOS tweaks over boring sluggish and crapish android.

Actually, some people don’t jailbreak for just the cydia apps. If you buy an iphone in the US and bring it to a another country, you’ll only be able to use it sim free. But if you jailbreak it you’ll be able to use it with a mobile network.
You’re confusing unlocking with jail breaking. You don’t need to jailbreak your iPhone to unlock and if you get a Verizon iPhone it comes unlocked, all you need to do is replace the SIM card with one from a local carrier to use your iPhone on a foreign carrier or any other compatible carrier, remember that your radios have to be able to transmit and receive on the same bands as the carrier you want to join and no amount of flashing, unlocking and jail breaking can do that for you.

I donated to Evaders, they do a lot of work so the likes of us can JB our devices. Patience is all we need, i have 5S running iOS 7 and i dig it, my old 4S is on Evasi0n 6.1.2 which serves me as a great media center , i mirror through Apple TV all kinds of TV show and movies through Movie Box & Streamshire. I have confidence they’ll do it but i’ll stick on 7.0.2 for now!

I suggest everyone update to 7.0.3 because it fixes too many bugs to ignore. My iPad 4 was sluggish and now it’s speedy. I don’t want a jailbreak if it’s only going to support buggy builds of iOS 7. So if they can’t jailbreak it then there is a problem that the devs will eventually overcome. I’m sure musclenerd means well, he is just being unreasonable if he expects anyone to be happy with staying on a very buggy iOS 7.0.2.
