Cyberelevat0r Jailbreak 7.1.1 UnTethered Fraud Tool Isn’t I0n1c’s - It’s A Trap!

Jailbreak 7.1.1 UnTethered Cyberelevat0r

Cyberelevat0r Jailbreak iOS 7.1.1 UnTethered Fraud Tool Isn’t i0n1c’s, It’s A Trap! - After having clarified that several tweets from i0n1c (a skilled iOS hacker and security expert that’s in the process of developing a new jailbreak for iOS 7.1.1) were neither confirming nor hinting towards a release date for his UnTethered jailbreak 7.1.1 utility, a new and rather troubling matter has come to the attention of Jailbreak Evasi0n Info’s staff. First, some needed background information - in previously releasing his ‘proof of iOS 7.1.1 jailbreak’ video, i0n1c suggested that the finalized version of his tool may be dubbed “Cyberelevat0r”. Since the release of i0n1c’s video that solidifies the hacker’s jailbreak iOS 7.1.1 UnTethered method, i0n1c has presumably subjected his jailbreak to countless tests, as there are 44 different iDevices, including the iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 4s, iPad Air and iPad mini 2, 4, 3 models, in need of a solution to jailbreak 7.1.1 fully Untethered. Unfortunately, a new and rather insulting scam site has come into existence that tarnishes not only the name and reputation of the Cyberelevat0r jailbreak, but also that of it’s creator: i0n1c. In today’s article, we’ll set the record straight for i0n1c and Cyberelevator regarding the hopefully forthcoming UnTethered jailbreak iOS 7.1.1 utility.

UnTethered Fraudulent Jailbreak iOS 7.1.1 Cyberelevat0r Isn’t i0n1c’s - It’s A Trap!

Jailbreak 7.1.1 UnTethered Cyberelevat0r

To preface, it’s important to realize that while it’s still unclear whether i0n1c will release his jailbreak to the public (we delve into that very topic in further detail on a separate iOS 7.1.1 jailbreak article), there’s absolutely no denying that either way, the hacker needs additional time to test and perfect his newly discovered jailbreak method.

After all, looking back, both evasi0n and evasi0n7 from the evad3rs (a Dev Team comprised of four of arguably the best iOS hackers in the world) took the team months to complete and release - i0n1c is only one hacker with a day job and the same 24 hours in a day as everyone else. In other words, i0n1c is likely doing the best he can with what are assumed to be limited resources, mostly being time and help.

With that said, it’s come to our attention that a number of Apple-centered blogs, and some of our readers, have confused a new scam with i0n1c’s Cyberelevat0r jailbreak. Blurring the lines between said scam and reality, some jailbreakers have made a quantum leap into assuming that the actual jailbreak and i0n1c are frauds - that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Fake Cyberelevat0r 7.1.1 Jailbreak Isn’t Official, i0n1c Has Nothing To Do With It

In simply registering a domain that’s highly reminiscent of i0n1c’s still-in-development jailbreak, an individual has put together a shoddy JailbreakMe-esque faux ‘Slide to Jailbreak’ site that promises an Untethered jailbreak for iOS 7.1.1 - instead the site offers an endless survey loop to shamelessly generate some quick cash. World renowned hacker MuscleNerd of the evad3rs even commended the despicable site on its ability to efficiently trick jailbreakers into falling prey to its scam surveys.

While we won’t link to the aforementioned scam, or even highlight its name for that matter, we will say that unless a jailbreak solution is detailed on Jailbreak Evasi0n Info, it’s fake. 1. If it’s released you will find it after a official announcement on this sight. Just count on it Not being released; that way it’s a nice surprise If they ( he) does release one. This is just a hobby to most!

    1. I hope he does release it… to me, announcing “Hey, I have my phone jailbroken, and here is how awesome it is, oh my god this is so epic, shame I wont be releaseing it” Feels a bit like making a bunch of great food, and then eating it in front of a bunch of homeless people. Yeah, you can do it, but it is a bit rude… I mean, either share it with them, or dont advertise it to everyone…

      1. Guys check it out well i cant post a pick but i have made a tool and tested it on a iphone 5c and it jailbroke in like 5-7 min. Anyways it can only jailbreak iphone 5s,5c,5 and thats all. But im not sure if i should release i mean how am i gonna release it. And im serious

    1. Were you around for the days of JailbreakMe? Both iterations of the UnTethered solution allowed for on-device jailbreaks due to the userland exploits they employed.

  4. Whoa! how is this post useless abhi? He’s informing us about the scam that may trick you into upgrading to 7.1.1 and get your hopes up just to destroy em

    1. Exactly… After receiving a large number of requests, the point of this article was to clarify the entire situation and to warn readers of the despicable scam site.

  5. Please inform us if a jailbreak for ios 7.1.1 is ever going to release or not…… And don’t post these useless posts

    1. See response from reader posting under the screen name of “iPhone 5s” - this is FAR from a “useless post”.

At any rate, thanks for reading.
