Download Evasi0n UnTethered Jailbreak 6.1.2 Version 1.4 Utility - Today, the @evad3rs (the official twitter handle for the Evad3rs jailbreak dev team) updated their Evasi0n Jailbreak utility for all iOS 6 devices to version 1.4. The latest update was issued to include support for Apple’s newly-released iOS 6.1.2 firmware. Like with past versions, Evasi0n 1.4 corrects various bugs that jailbreakers experienced when using the initial release of evasion and users can now jailbreak with more ease then before.
For those of you who wish to update to 6.1.2 and have already jailbroken your iDevice on iOS 6 through 6.1.1, an iTunes restore will be required. To successfully update to 6.1.2, simply create a backup inside iTunes, restore your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch to Apple’s latest firmware, jailbreak using evasi0n and restore from your previously-created iTunes backup.
Like with earlier versions of the Evasi0n UnTethered iOS 6.1.2 Jailbreak utility, the following devices are supported on all firmwares from iOS 6.0 to Apple’s new 6.1.2:
- iPad 4 (4th gen with Retina display)
- iPad Mini
- iPhone 5
- iPhone 4S
- iPhone 4
- iPhone 3Gs
- iPod touch 5G or 5th generation
- iPod touch 4G or 4th generation
- iPad 3
- iPad 2
If you have yet to jailbreak your iOS device(s), we strongly advise that you follow our complete and in-depth written tutorial with and an equally in-depth video guide for iOS 6 (6.1.2, 6.1.1, 6.1, 6.0.2 and 6.0.1).
Requirements
The following is a list of official requirements for the evasi0n untethered jailbreak, as stated on the evad3rs’ site:
- A USB cable to connect the device to the computer
- 5 minutes of your time!
- A computer, running Windows (XP minimum), Mac OS X (10.6 minimum) or Linux (x86 / x86_64)
- An iPhone, iPad or iPod running iOS 6.0 through 6.1

No, not with iOS 6.
Just updated iphone 5 GSM iOS 6.1.2 then jailbroke via evasion 1.4, I am factory unlocked and using T-Mobile micro sim. I am having horrible edge and 3g reception! Also wifi cuts in and out and only runs an average of 10kps download speed. I haven’t really had a chance to mess with it yet but just letting everyone know if you can just wait a couple days to see if everything is going smooth or not
That’s very odd, the jailbreak wouldn’t interfere with reception/performance like that. My advice would be to preform another restore to 6.1.2.
