How To Install iOS 7 Beta 6 Free (7.0) Without UDID, Security Flaw Demo

How to Install iOS 7 Beta 6
Last night, about a week and a half after issuing the fifth beta version of iOS 7, Apple officially seeded iOS 7 beta 6 to registered iOS Developers. In Apple’s latest iOS 7 beta update, the company effectively pushed an urgent bug fix to developers that corrects an issue with “iTunes in the Cloud”. As with iOS 6.1.3, users who update to iOS 7 beta 6 from an earlier firmware will essentially forfeit their ability to jailbreak. In this informative guide, we’ll highlight an iTunes security flaw that enables devices running either iOS 6.1.3 or 6.1.4 to update to iOS 7 beta 6 without having said devices’ UDID registered.

Step 1: Verify that the iPhone, iPad or iPod touch intended for update to iOS 7 is running the latest public firmware (either 6.1.3 or 6.1.4 in the case of the iPhone 5). If the iDevice is on an older version of iOS 6, or if it’s jailbroken, proceed to the second step; users with devices on either 6.1.3 or 6.1.4 should continue to the third step.

Step 2: Initiate a backup for your device inside iTunes, update to either iOS 6.1.3 or 6.1.4 and restore from the iTunes backup that was previously created.

Step 3: Confirm that you have the latest version of iTunes installed - if not, take the time to update now. Inside the device section of  iTunes, hold either option (alt) on OS X or shift on a Windows-based computer and left click the button to “Check for Update”. Upon being notified to select an IPSW, browse for your iDevice’s corresponding iOS 7 beta 6 firmware file. Again, for legal reasons, we cannot provide our readers with direct download links).

Step 4: Once the firmware is selected and the iPhone, iPad or iPod touch finishes the automated update process, follow the simple and straightforward setup process for iOS 7 on the device itself.

Hypothetically speaking, following the steps above will successfully install iOS 7 beta 6 on an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. If you find yourself confused by the in-depth instructions outlined in this article, we advise watching iCrackUriDevice’s detailed video, which is embedded above.

ios 7 CANNOT be installed without a Dev ACC it was possible on BETA 1 & 2, but wont install now. itunes WILL give you the option to udate software to ios7 whilst holding said keys!!
