iOS 7 Jailbreak 7.0 Post 6.1.3 Update, Pod2g’s Confident
Today, in a brief article following planetbeing’s post 6.1.3 jailbreak iOS 7 update from earlier this week, we’re bringing you, our readers, even more great news - straight from pod2g and pimseks (two of the four members of the evad3rs). After we informed you that none of the major developers on the jailbreak scene (save winocm) plan to release a utility to jailbreak 6.1.3, planetbeing issued an update to his followers that suggested significant progress has been made in the development of an upcoming iOS 7 Untethered jailbreak. Today, we have something to share that’s almost equally as reassuring.
Famed iOS security researcher and hacker pod2g shared his confidence regarding the development of a public jailbreak tool for iOS 7 in a tweet to pimskeks.

In response, pimskeks simply said the following (in what we assume was intended to be a sarcastic tone): “hey @pod2g that’s confidential”.
Like we’ve stated numerous times, a jailbreak tool for iOS 6.1.3 likely won’t be released to the public before either the evad3rs or p0sixninja finish development on an iOS 7 utility.
As for a release date or time frame, unfortunately, there isn’t one. In his initial tweet from earlier today, pod2g said “that does not mean soon”. Although we don’t anticipate it will take months to develop an iOS 7 jailbreak like it did with the iOS 6 through 6.1.2 evasi0n utility, we won’t know for sure until the evad3rs are able to get their hands on an iPhone 5S with Apple’s new 64-bit architecture.
Although iOS 7 isn’t set to arrive until next Wednesday, jailbreak tutorial creator iCrackUriDevice put together a detailed walkthrough on how to “theoretically” install iOS 7 GM (the final version intended for public release) days in advance - check it about above.

Ios 6.1.3 is a nightmare for jailbreaking and I returned 2 white ipad mini’s because of it!!!!!! In april I bought a mb air and 2 mini’s for the kids (1 black 16gb and 1 white 16gb) but I had to be at work in 2hrs, so i quickly activated their ipad’s on my way home knowing they were dying waiting for them but had no time at all to jailbreak since i had to go work to pay for their fricken ipads.. So dropped them at home and told them not to update cause i would’t be able to jailbreak so no tweaks and free stuff and since this was in april a 6.1.3 jailbreak was a bad joke and off to work i went…”i work nights on a 13hr shift” So now morning after comes around get home make a coffee grab my new air and decide now is a great time to play with my new toy and the boys mini’s need to be jailbroken, so lets start!!….. Downloaded evaisi0n and plugged in the black mini…voila less then 4minutes ipad has cydia and is running great…”success the older moody teenagers ipad is done” Next grab the younger kids, who is 10, hooked on minecraft and always updating our family windows pc trying to do hacks for clash of clans coins and stuff and bang!!! evasi0n tells me unsupported ios version..6.1.3″ S*it that little f#ck updated it after i stressed him and the older one not to0… so since you have 2 weeks to bring back any ipad you buy from anystore anywhere i decided I’ll just bring it back to futureshop and change for one on 6.1.2, but they had no more white so i went to an actual apple store close by and stressed to a sales rep that i do not want and will not buy one on ios 6.1.3 but was very quickly told I have no say in which ios or os i get with any apple product at time of purchase unless paying for a different system (i.e mac os x server) and since they constantly change stock due to selling every ipad mini In white I will be getting ios 6.1.3 but I couldnt open it 1st to see 1st “store rule” but I have 14 days to bring it back to any apple store if im unhappy. I actually activated it in the store on the spot checked settings,put it back in the box and told the guy im unhappy with the 1 i got so i’d like to return it and handed to him..(f@ck you buddies at apple…for $400cdn I not buying something I don’t want 100%) I was then told that since all 16gb white mini’s sold out at launch and are the hottest seller the only way im getting 6.1.2 is by buying it on ebay… So back off to futureshop again i went and decided since they’re kids and im paying black for both and this time the rep at future shop let me check which ios was installed “we checked 2 in closed boxes and every demo on the floor and all were 6.1.3 but after looking though about 8 open boxed ones for sale i found 1 black with 6.1.2, went home and said sorry to the younger child after I got mad at him for an update I told him not to do that he actually didn’t do… I than had to break the news he couldn’t have white cause only black at store “little lie” and the little f*cker looked up,said so!! who cares black or white it’s an ipad…thanks and off to his room he went… I hate IOS 6.1.3 it’s been half a yr and still nothing..and to make matters worse I just updated my ipad 2nd gen from 5.0.1 to 6.1.3 since no new games work with it and in less than 72hrs I may not be able to go lower that 7 on any device I have and may be pushed back even farther for a jailbreak… “u can always go from 6.1.3 to 7 but u cant go back from 7 to 6.1.3″ I hate ios 6.1.3 I hate ios 6.1.3 I hate ios 6.1.3 I hate ios 6.1.3 I hate ios 6.1.3 I hate ios 6.1.3 I hate ios 6.1.3 I hate ios 6.1.3 I hate ios 6.1.3

No amount of prayers, charms and fasting can help your wish come true. Only really freaking old A4 powered iDevices can be downgraded by sacrificing a virgin and making a deal with the Devil. If I were you, I would suck it up and upgrade to iOS 7 Gold Member and wait for the jailbreak utility.

Kid, I have no reason to be jealous, unlike you and most others, I read all the blogs, I read all the FAQ’s and I know how to do google searches. I have been tinkering with electronics for more than 30 years and have been tinkering with Linux since before there was a GUI. My first smart phone was a windows ce phone and my first android phone was the google g1 at launch. I know full well what devices ios 7 will run on because I do my research. I have never suggested that it would run on anything other than iPod 5, iPad 2 +, iPhone 4 and up. Your downgrade is already well documented and you did not invent shit. I read about the down grade nearly 4 months ago when I tried it on my iPhone 5 to see if there was a work around. Now although I have decades of experience I am no expert, I just get disgusted by people that make asses of themselves. As I said, I get personally offended by bull shit and it’s been pretty thick here. Now, the only reason why you know how to downgrade is because you were goaded into doing a simple google search. You didn’t come up with anything and I’m offended that you would make that claim.

Keith shut up I learned this shit from experience I’ve been jailbreaking since evasi0n came out and if I was a dev I’d have more cash to buy all sorts of devices the only device I have is an iPod touch 4g I’m only sharing this method with the people who can’t so do us all a favor and go fuck yourself asshole
For People who wants to downgrade again from iOS 7 to 6.1.3.. As we know that iTunes doesnt support iOs 7 GM till now… so here is a simple way!! *Connect your iOS 7 GM device *iTunes gunna say that its not supported.. *Enter DFU mode then you can simply restore it to 6.1.3.. Hope it helps anyone <3

Don’t upgrade your firmware ever till there is a confirmed untethered jailbreak utility available for your future firmware. Quit listening to all the gossip and just Be Patient !!! Just follow iCrackuriDevice.
Fuck It ill tell you guys how to downgrade- Requirements: 6.1.2 blobs cydia, iphone 4, iphone 3gs, ipod touch 4th generation now i know that saurik developer of cydia nad other jailbreakers say that cydias blobs are corrupt let me cut to the chase 1. download 6.1.2 firmware 2. download ifaith 1.5.9 3. open ifaith and select show available SHSH cache on server 4. a little window will pop up saying would you like to use your device click yes 5. click show available blobs on tss server 6. check 6.1.2 and download the shsh blobs for 6.1.2 and it should save it on your desktop 7. go to main menu on ifaith and click build signed ipsw w/ blobs 8. browse for your 6.1.2 blobs wherever you saved it if it says apticket looks valid your good to go 9. browse for your 6.1.2 firmware 10. once you do that click build ipsw 11. once its done put your device into pwned dfu mode after you turn it off 12. close ifaith open up itunes 13. it will detect it in recovery now im running windows not mac so i held shift and clicked restore browse for your custom ipsw that you built and restore it to that 14. when its done you should be running ios 6.1.2 15. jailbreak with evasi0n and enjoy No hateful comments im doing the mature thing by making the comments everyone posted about me water under the fucking bridge if you dont have 6.1.2 blobs on cydia you’re screwed until 6.1.3 is untethered if you have cydia blobs you should be good to go as long as you only use ifaith redsn0w does not work at all to downgrade so dont use it
You are right about redsnow not working for downgrades. Itunes does not have any of my ipsw that are saved in tiny umbrella. So I haven’t been able to go back to any shsh blobs that were saved in cydia for my iPhone 4. Forcing me to stay with 6.1.3…I hated losing my jailbreak, but I thought it would be okay to go to 6.1.3 and got screwed!
Follow my guide and it will tell you on how to get your cydia blobs using i faith if you click request shsh blobs from TSS server that basically means retrieve blobs from cydia
I follow sometime the jailbreak issues and it seem good to have patience when new gadgets come out: I’m one of the lucky people that still work on a jailbreaked iOS 6.1.2. I don’t understand, the most have more knowledge than me and they have now the problem iOS 6.1.3 and iOS 7. What can I say, yes I going to stay on 6.1.2… I going to order the iPhone 5S and that gonna be a iOS 7 without jailbreak. I going to read, follow the situation and when the jailbreak comes out… I still wait… I week forum reading and than very slowly to be sure go for a new jailbreak. Man, how rude from someone looking for a free service. The tweets are a good sign that a jb utility is in development and news that although development is active we shouldn’t think any utility will be available soon. I think that a utility will be available sometime in the next 90 days knowing that they have to first find the exploits and then code a utility info being that will work on multiple devices and I don’t think it can be done with any ease. Another thing is that there are still bugs in iOS 7 Gold and they will probably wait on a jailbreak until a patch or two has been released by Apple a lot like they did for iOS 6 and that I can appreciate because I for one do not want to be afraid to update to a more stable build all because I’m afraid to lose my jailbreak. Hell, some people feared iOS 6 so much that they are still on iOS 5.1.1 so just be patient and enjoy your iDevice and know that shortly in a month or three you will be playing around with your favorite jb tweaks again. I’ve spent a good $60 on tweaks that I can’t use and nobody sees me crying.
