Open Jailbreak Likely An Open Source Jailbreak Site, Not A 6.1.3 Utility
Earlier this morning, ensuing p0sixninja’s public tweets from last month regarding his disdain for redsn0w, sn0wbreeze and iOS 6.1.3, the hacker provided some additional insight as to what the next major advancement may very well be in the world of jailbreaking. As the majority of the jailbreak community continues to grow impatient, knowing full well that the developers won’t release a 6.1.3 jailbreak, most are turning their sights toward iOS 7, which will inevitably become the future of jailbreaking - in spite of Apple’s contempt.
In his recent tweet, p0sixninja referred to something he previously mentioned last month regarding a project he’s currently working on. The famed hacker and iOS security expert informed his followers that he’ll be “opening up” a new “OpenJailbreak” site to the public after he manages to get a custom site theme set up.
We will be opening up http://t.co/eseQIWNytN to the public soon. Waiting for the custom theme, and cleaning up and preparing code first.

Although almost any information regarding the upcoming OpenJailbreak website will be based on speculation and conjecture, it’s safe to say that Open Jailbreak will act as an open source, community-based collaborative jailbreak development site - similar to GitHub.
As of now, there isn’t any change in when the public can expect a new jailbreak utility (we’re still looking at a release sometime after Apple issues iOS 7 to the masses), only what the future holds in store for the ever-growing community that has inspired and influenced millions: jailbreaking.

wow… all these post demanding a developer to take countless hours of his live, without asking for a paycheck in return. jail-breaking your iPhone is not a requirement that iPhone you keep saying is crippled, paperweight and so on has nothing wrong with it - its functioning as intended. maybe the developer should give you all a taste of your own medicine. He should charge a license fee for the next jailbreak release. (even if its as low as $10 - I bet at least 98% of all the posts that only disrespected the developer came from people that can not afford or wouldn’t pay $10.

Hey Mel, You can enter what is known as a ones dfu mode which works with redsn0w by downloading sn0wbreeze onto you computer. You will need a copy of your current ipsw, which you can google. Consult Google or YouTube for more help. -Matt

For all of you who don’t know this, or are so impatient that you must smut up this public forum with your profanity and vulgar comments: redsn0w will jailbreak 6.1.3/4 (tethered) as long as you select the 6.0 ipsw for your respective device. Also, sn0wbreeze will create a jailbroken ipsw for tethered use with iBooty. Just do it tethered for now, and install all of your sources/packages while still at your computer. (and don’t let your phone die!) I’ve been jailbroken on 6.1.3 since march 2013, and haven’t had to reboot my phone since april… Practice makes perfect. ~Happy Hacking!~

Hey dumbfuck, the reason they army releasing a 6.1.3/4 jailbreak is because if they do, apple will most likely patch the exploits needed for a jailbreak with the official release of iOS 7. These people decide to find a jailbreak solution and wait for a bigger release for the sake of having a jailbreak solution that Apple won’t fix by the release of iOS7. These people also have lives outside of coding and programming because they are obviously human. If you choose to believe that they play with their balls all day, well go ahead and believe so, but you’re not any better than them because I bet you can’t even write a line of code. I know I can’t. So please consider that these people working on jailbreaks are actually human and if you somehow know that they play with their balls then that’s pretty creepy considering that it’s done in private.
