UnTethered Jailbreak 7.1.1 Development, Pod2g Discovers New Kernel Exploit?

Untethered Jailbreak 7.1.1 Development, Pod2g’s Possible Kernel Exploit - Recently, there seems to be no shortage of exciting news for those seeking a solution to jailbreak 7.1.1 UnTethered. From i0n1c’s announcement of developing a new jailbreak tool for iOS 7.1.1 to the hacker’s recent ‘proof of iOS 7.1.1 jailbreak’ video, the probability of a new utility seems to be increasing on daily basis. If a tool is released for iOS 7.1.1, this will be the first time jailbreak developers have created two UnTethered jailbreaks for the same iOS installment since the days of iOS 5. Today, there has been an additional development that bodes well for the likelihood of a second iOS 7 utility to jailbreak iOS 7.1.1 fully UnTethered! Since prominent hacker pod2g of the evad3rs (a developer who’s been instrumental in the creation of numerous jailbreak solutions) first teased the possibility of a new tool to jailbreak 7.1.1, the hacker has remained relatively silent amidst all of i0n1c’s announcements, until now.

Jailbreak iOS 7.1.1 Development - Pod2g Discovers A New Kernel Exploit?

Earlier this morning, pod2g tweeted an image to his followers of what looks to be a second-generation iPad mini with a glitched display.

In addition to tweeting the aforementioned picture, pod2g simply said the following in his tweet “Exploit?”.

While discussing the matter with our friend BlackGeekTutorial (a hacker who created the GeekSn0w iOS 7.1 through 7.1.1 jailbreak utility for the iPhone 4), he reminded us that while it’s hard to gage the importance of the image and decipher what’s actually happening, it could very well be a kernel panic that was caused by code execution that is “incompatible with another code”.

Kernel Exploit And An UnTethered iOS 7.1.1 Jailbreak

So, why is that important? Essentially when an iDevice experiences a kernel panic, it can often lead to the discovery of a new kernel exploit, which in turn could be the foundation of an UnTethered jailbreak.

Finally, with iOS 7.1.2 expected to be released in the coming days, it’s likely the developers will wait until Apple releases the new firmware before announcing any potential plans (we’ll go into further detail on the topic in a follow-up article) - keep your browsers lock to Jailbreak Evasi0n Info.

People were saying that not the jail breakers and ionic said that there were still tons of exploits somusingmone would not change a thing. Mostly people that were already and still are jailbroken that we’re saying these things. Ios 7.1 was suppose to stop jail breaking thats why this has a big uproar but as the work has been going on they found more and more exploits that wont hurt a release of ios 8 at all.

  4. Hokese says:

Hellooo Again, So, how is the 7.1.1 JB coming? I have a question, why is this JB more important than all the other JB’s? I was thinking that it is because 7.1.1 has more security issues with it, is that true? If that is not it,could you please tell me what is the hurdle that is stooping this JB. Thank You as Always, Kevin

Maybe a little less chat on the exploits and what possible function they cause or do .. You act like no one reads this info that works for apple and can start working on looking for said exploits or exploits… There would be no real issue if apple just let users downgrade period but shows more greed than anything else.. Also people should be freaking on apple for selling corrupt batteries that come with a 18 month shelf life !! And to watch for cycle counts on said battery ( even if it is defective !! If u go over said cycle count aka: full charges nulls your warranty) even though you have to charge 10 fold bc of defective battery.. Or keep a portable charger with you to be able to use iPhone … Also stop the idle chatter of a jailbreak as only newbies beg and act like a person going through withdrawal !!! Lmfao… Make noise when a JB ARRIVES , no use of gossip, as 95% of your headlines are totally misleading and sad to stoop that low to bring people to your site

I agree with Sopper, their is no JB. It’s ironic that a JB could be when it should be but it’s not. It’s only news for the site since a new IOS 7.1.2 is being released let’s play the funk and pretend to have JB news to then tell us, ops they blocked it lmaoooo it’s a website stunt..,

  14. Sopper says:

It was not planed for today or last night? I think there are no JB.

    • Evasion Admin says:

No, it isn’t planned test. They’ve given no definitive release date, as there are 44 DIFFERENT device models in new of the jailbreak.

  15. Navz says:

Why ios 7.1.1 downgrade not support 7.0.6.? And custemer need to patient always for jailbreakes..? Its one of the 3rd right rules. Apple custemers always make us fool. Apple ios only can fight with samsung for patent.

    • Evasion Admin says:

It’s impossible to downgrade due to the way Apple carries out restores.

      • LOLITZAFROGG says:

I think its stupid that we can’t downgrade

        • Kiki says:

yes it is but Apple has stop signing 7.1 beta 3 after an hour of ios 7.1 official was released . so that means , there’s isn’t any chance to downgrade using the itunes unless if you save ios 7.1 beta 3 by iFaith or something .
