With the evad3rs working both diligently and tirelessly on the upcoming iOS 7 and 7.0.2 jailbreak utility for all devices, it’s safe to say that the questions we’re asked at Jailbreak iOS Evasion are almost entirely related to the tool’s release date. While all members of the evad3rs have declined the notion of providing an official target date or timeframe, we know for a fact that the team has all they need to surgically complete development on the next Untethered iOS 7.0.2 jailbreak in, what will hopefully be, a matter of weeks.

I wonder how many pennies this site gets for every visitor? I’m totally behind the talent that find the exploits for jail breaking, and patiently waiting for something - and happy to donate to their cause. But surely this website must be making a killing with all of us visiting to get updates… Who’s getting rich? Is it going to the JB team, or just this rather vague blog that provides updates - or rather speculates and keeps repeating the same info over and over and over again. But don’t misinterpret my comment as a lack of respect for the talented JB team. I’m looking forward to having Cydia again, and know that the JB is a gift, not a right. (Well, I think that not being able to fully access the software on my own hardware sucks, it is just part of intellectual property I suppose…)

At this point don’t really know what to do… Im on 6.1 Jailbroken and don’t know if I should update to 7.0.2 now or wait ? But then what if there won’t be a chance to update to 7.0.2 ?

Just Stay where you are and wait until the thousands of exploits will be found and jailbreak will come out! Even though I’m still sticking to the end of 2013 to February 2014 It is a possibility that we will see the jailbreak come out in late October.

Why would you consider upgrading and losing your jailbreak? For that matter since you have a good jailbreak why upgrade even if and when the 7.02 comes out?
While a 6.x jailbreak may be useful for some, there will never be another apple device sold with it. With all of the time this team has spent keeping ahead of apple they cannot afford the time to something that doesn’t stay relevant deep into the future. The 5s and other A7 platforms featuring the 64 bit instructions may be easier to jailbreak since I would believe it had to be completely rebuilt from the kernel up! I would figure that would be easier than a well-patched, well searched kernel. It all depends on how familiar any of it looks as well. This extreme change in processing design could bring us back to the days of the 3G and 3GS where Jailbreakme.com could do a hardware based break in a few seconds. Time will tell

I really really hope the jailbreak will fix the blackened out wi-fi on the 4s. Ever since downloading 7.0 my daughters 4s wi-fi is blackened out & theres no way to turn it back on. Apple hasnt fixed it either with the 7.0.2 download.

I have nothing but admiration for those smart enough to make jailbreaks, like the Evad3rs team & others like ih8snow & the legendary Geohot whose exploits from 4yrs ago are still being used in the last Redsnow tethered JB this year. The link to this article from Twitter says that a jailbreak says that the jailbreak will be here in a few weeks. This article says that “hopefully” one will be available. So, there is still no yes or no answer. We all know that one is coming, but nobody knows if it will be a few weeks or months. “Hopefully” does not mean “definitely”. I need to stop clicking links unless it says something like “Here are the untethered jailbreak links for iOS 7.0.2″. I have confidence that the crew is doing all they can to jailbreak, but there is no 100% guarantee that they won’t run into trouble with bugs. When I see download links, then I will get excited.
I wouldn’t expect to see the utility released until after IOS v. 7.0.3 is unveiled by Apple. That release should unify IOS for all devices, since 7.0.1 has been released for the new 5S and 5C and 7.0.2 for the rest of us.
