Top iOS 6.1.2 Cydia Tweaks For Evasi0n UnTethered Jailbreak iPhone 5, iPad 4 And More

Top And Best Cydia Tweaks for Evasi0n UnTethered Jailbreak iOS 6.1.2 - Last month we reported on a list of twenty-five of the very best Cydia tweaks for iOS 6 that include support for the latest iPhone, iPad and iPod touch models. Today, iCrackUriDevice (the same popular jailbreak tutorial YouTuber that complied the previous list) published a new video of five additional tweaks for iOS 6.1.2 that are available for download through Cydia, none of which require adding custom repos (repositories).

Additionally, all five of the packages have been confirmed to properly function on most iPhone, iPad and iPod touch models running iOS 6.0, 6.0.1, 6.0.2, 6.1, 6.1.1 and 6.1.2 by the staff of Evasi0n Jailbreak. For obvious reasons, one of the tweaks (Bars) doesn’t include support for the Wi-Fi iPad and iPod touch, as it’s intended to measure a device’s cellular signal.

  1. After reading the following list and watching the video, which is conveniently embedded above, we recommend downloading and installing the Cydia tweaks to greatly improve the look, feel and functionality of your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad running iOS 6 through 6.1.2.
  2. Bars is a small, lightweight free tweak that packs a big punch by extending upon the stock cellular strength indicator and providing a more accurate representation of a devices current connectivity.
  3. MapsOpener allows users’ applications to open destinations and locations in Google Maps, bypassing the standard Apple iOS 6+ Maps app entirely - MapsOpener is available for free from the BigBoss repo.
  4. AirFloat is another free utility that enables iDevices to receive AirPlay information and data from other devices. Essentially, AirFloat offers similar functionality as Apple’s AirPort Express; its music capabilities at least. This particular Cydia package allows users to play music wirelessly using any pair of speakers that connect via a 3.5mm headphone jack.
  5. Password Pilot is a simple extension that locally saves iTunes passwords using an encrypted method for the best protection possible. Once a password is entered through the Password Pilot portion of the Settings app, App Store password input becomes effortless and completely automated.
  6. Last, but certainly not least, Springtomize 2 adds a plethora of system-wide customizable that are easily configurable through the standard Settings app. Springtomize 2 for iOS 5 and 6 is available to purchase on the BigBoss repo for $2.99.

Finally, it’s important to realize that like with all third-party packages, the ones listed above can only be downloaded and installed on a device with root access. In order to achieve root access, said device must be jailbroken - if you own an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch that isn’t jailbroken on iOS 6 or 6.1.2, we strongly advice following our detailed evasi0n jailbreak 6.1.2 tutorial.
