Jailbreak iOS 9 Untethered Update; TaiG, iH8sn0w, Pangu or K33n, How to Jailbreak iOS 9.0 following Release? - Today, ensuing iOS 9âs release, letâs discuss the future of jailbreaking, particularly where iOS 9.0.2 is concerned. In spite of the latest TaiG jailbreak for iOS 8.4 having been patched by Appleâs 8.4.1 release last month, developers on the jailbreak scene are already looking to the future as iOS 8.x becomes a set of firmware releases from the past. First, before we talk about a potential iOS 9 jailbreak, itâs important to realize the release timeframe for the first installment of Appleâs next major mobile operating system. iOS 9 was first unveiled at Appleâs 2015 WWDC (World Wide Developers Conference) in June, since then the firmware has gone through five developer-exclusive betas and three public beta releases before being issued to the public on September 16th. With Appleâs September 9th having recently passed, the company unveiled not only the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus, but also the much-rumored iPad Pro and iPad mini 4, as well as the Apple TV 4, all of which (save the latter) are crucial when predicting the release of the next jailbreak. However, before skipping ahead to future devices, we have a lot to discuss first. Continue past the break for more on iOS 9 and jailbreaking!
The above video from popular iOS YouTuber iCrackUriDevice highlights the latest updates in the realm of jailbreaking pertaining to iOS 9.0.2 - see corresponding ‘Update 4â below.
To summarize, iOS 9 is now readily available to the public (in the form of 9.0, 9.0.1 and 9.0.2), as Apple first released the firmware on September 16th.
Since then, as alluded to, the company has released two minor iOS 9 updates to the public, being the new iOS 9.0.2 and 9.0.1 firmwares.
Itâs also important to understand that regardless of the challenges both iOS 9 and its “Rootless” security designation and the new iPhones pose, neither are truly un-jailbreakable. As weâve discussed before, “Rootless” is simply the internal name Apple dubbed their security improvements in iOS 9 through 9.0.2 and, although said improvements make jailbreaking substantially require a significant amount of creativity on jailbreak developersâ parts, itâs not impossible!
Like last year, we need Appleâs latest round of iOS devices to be released, and preferably several minor performance and bug fix iOS updates, prior to the release of a new jailbreak.
However, unlike last year, instead of simply having Pangu on the jailbreak scene, we also have TaiG, a group who brought us the past two jailbreak utilities. Moreover, a security team by the name of K33N also vowed to aid in the creation of an iOS 9 jailbreak and stated that theyâre keen (pun intended) on the idea of teaming up with Pangu to accomplish such a feat.
Also, with TaiG having created jailbreaks for both iOS 8.1.x and iOS 8.3 through iOS 8.4, itâs allowed Pangu enough time to create an entirely new jailbreak utility! In fact, Pangu even went as far as to jailbreak 8.4.1 at a security conference. However, given that the group hasnât released the tool for iOS 8.4.1, itâs safe to say theyâve determined that select vulnerabilities utilized may persist in the latest iOS 9 betas, causing them to hold off on a release for 8.4.1 - more great news!
Looking back to last year, Pangu opted to wait until Appleâs new line of iPads were released in October before pushing out their utility. Depending on what happens with the iPad Pro and iPad mini 4, the three groups currently involved in jailbreaking may ultimately come to a similar conclusion.
Update 1 (Sept. 8th): In an interesting move, Pangu published several important iOS 8.4.1 jailbreak exploits on September 8th, likely because the group is committed to developing a new tool for iOS 9.0.2 instead of devoting resources to 8.4.1.
Update 2 (Sept. 15th). Recently hacker iH8sn0w publicized a video of him jailbreaking iOS 9 Untethered! However, before getting too excited, just note that the hacker has absolutely no plans of releasing a his work. Moreover, due to the nature of the low-level exploit used in his jailbreak, support is limited to non-64-bit devices (i.e. it would only work on anything older than the iPhone 5s). Having said that, iH8sn0w has effectively proved the “rootless” iOS 9 security can be cracked, though the task was substantially harder than the current jailbreaks weâve received in the form of public tools!
Update 3 (Sept. 20th): A mere four days ago, Apple issued iOS 9 to the general public, a firmware that will change the face of jailbreaking forever!
Update 4 (Sep. 30th): Apple issued the latest iOS 9.0.x update in the form of 9.0.2 to the masses, which is focused on correcting minor bugs and complications with iOS 9. Moreover, following the release of iOS 9.0.2, Apple also closed the signing window for both iOS 9.0 and iOS 8.4.1, effectively putting an end to iOS 9 downgrades.
For additional information on not only the latest iOS 9.0.2 release, but also whether weâll be capable of jailbreaking the firmware soon, we recommend both watching the above video and keeping your browsers locked to Evasi0n Jailbreak.
So, tl;dr, what does all of this mean? If we were to give an optimistic timeframe for the release of a new iOS 9.0.2 jailbreak, it would between the iPhone 6Sâ release and the end of October., based on the route the jailbreak developers decide to take concerning the new iPads. Remember, iOS 9.0.2âs increased security measures may also push the timeframe back from the end of September into October. Additional information on exactly what iH8sn0wâs iOS 9 jailbreak means for the community can be found in the above video from YouTuber iCrackUriDevice.

You are all a bunch of IMPATIENT children! He does not, and will not release an expected time for the IOS 9.x.x jailbreak arrival to AVOID toxicness. You are all talking about how you are done with IOS because you are tired of waiting for the JB, well he isnât being paid for it fools! He does this for free, so stop complaining to him, because he doesnât care. LONG LIVE JAILBREAK, LONG LIVE EVASION, LONG LIVE CYDIA!! Mwahaha
Can I jailbreak my 5S thatâs on 9.0.2 with this or does it need to be a 6plus?
with what? Thereâs no jailbreak man…lol
this is stupid. iâm going back to android. i donât have time to deal with the waiting and so called bug fixes.
@admin How do I use shsh blobs to downgrade? I keep seeing articles claim people can downgrade using shsh blobs but no instructions. Is it bs?
Itâs not BS, you used to be able to to that but those days are long gone. Have been since iOS 7 so anyone who tells you it can be done know IS full of BS.
I would like to see a JB as much as the next guy but waiting until the bugs are worked out of IOS 9 only makes sense. Why release it now before all the security holes are closed only to have Apple patch it and be stuck with a device that could be in need of a crucial security flaw and not be able to update. Take your time guys wait until YOU are ready and know it is safe and then release it. Until then I will stay on 8.4 with JB. This is jmo but think about it before you start getting all worked up and impatient.
Thatâs fine….I donât disagree. But. …..The new updates are coming fast and furious. If you wait till all bugs are ironed out you will never see a jb……Apple have seized control of jbs and have blocked them. Also they seem to be releasing their grasp and listening to their clients….so the need to jb is slowly diminishing.
I think we are all being strung along here by evasi0n. Week after week they ( he ) repeat non news. JB is a thing of the past. This ‘waiting for the next upgrade ‘ is nonsense. Time to move on!
Brought New 6S Plus last week, still havenât opened it!!! Currently using a 6. No precise date when JB for iOS 9???
(?#?ICYMI?): Apple Released 9.0.2 & STOPPED signing 8.4.1

On iOS 8.4 use the tiag jb tool make sure to turn of find my iPhone any password and fingerprints you have saved on the device once thatâs done plug it into your computer and click jailbreak I hope that helps you at least a little and if my explanation wasnât clear enough look up apple tech spot on YouTube he has a how to video
Thanks for the help i tried that already i downgraded itunes to 12.0.1 and it didnt work it kept saying apple drivers havent been found
Jose u need to uninstall it, erase all the carpets of itunes from both the program files, documents, and then install the 12.0.1 again, cause if u install without erasing any file is not a true downgrade and the jailbreack will not recognize it
How do i erase everything thats from iTunes?
nah man you donât have to do all that bs. download latest itunes and download and install this: https://mega.nz/#!bhtlCCDS!Q2gNhTDkUV6QQ_sm-1T4IbkapO3zKG-OzQTiwJFB28I or just use pangu tool

semi jb google it
In the video tutorial on how to jailbreak 8.4 they show you how to do that. You have to YouTube it.
U have to install iTunes 10.1 and first u have to uninstall iTunes 12.1 completely Search in YouTube how to uninstall iTunes completely
nope thatâs all bs. just install : http://mega.nz/#!bhtlCCDS!Q2gNhTDkUV6QQ_sm-1T4IbkapO3zKG-OzQTiwJFB28I
All that with the name apple jose
Also, your phone update has to ‘ve done through iTunes, not over the air.
Be*
Lol download taig tool to pc and jail break ur device
Si
Duh lol
I saw the video of iH8sn0w it was awesome
8.4.1????
semijb
Nicely nice, not so rootless huh
Tom
Yes baby bring it on…
Just please wait until iOS 9.1 coming out!!!
Why 9.1
Because 9.1 is already at the developer. And if the jailbreak coming out with the 9.0 than Apple will close the possibility to jailbreak the 9.1.
And if the jailbreak coming out with iOS 9.1, Apple will close exploits with the next version, too.
Itâs true. But 9.1 itâs much better than 9.0!
apple will always continue to patch jailbreaks. but then new jailbreaks will always continue to come. maybe there will come a time when apple will successfully create a rootless device!
True or false?
It seems pretty legit
lol I have android too, Iâm rooted with free apps etc. U can Do alot more on Android.
Hummmmm ….. No
Yes
Hahahahah sure abt it??
Yup
Whatever I used to feel the same way, until I went apple couldnât get an android to not crash out after three months
Well i must say No! Hahah! Androidâs security isnât as tight ad iOSâ. Thatâs why you can do a lot more on iOS
My friends are jelly that I ca jailbreak my phone and they have android
Then you should tell them that “Jail breaking” isnât necessary on Android. They already have significant power without doing anything. If they still want more then they can do whatâs called, “Rooting,” that completely opens up the device for even different OSes, or just tweaks, or whatever they want. “Jail breaking” the Apple products is necessary, if you want to actually use them properly. Android can be powerful without the “rooting” procedure, but if a user still wants more, it is available.
It can be but they want iPhones for the more availability that it has then what they normally see
Either one is more powerful once control is given back to the owner, so they can have great flexibility with a rooted android, until they can get an iPhone, and then you can help them understand how to jail break it, and help them do it.
It has been done but on older devices without 64bit operating system. The guy wonât be releasing it though
?os 9 Jailbreak yes?
